The Benjamin and Corinne Pierce Charitable Foundation
Making a Difference in Alcorn County

When Benjamin Pierce died, his wife, Corinne, wanted to commemorate his commitment to the community and honor his civic interests and leadership.  “He was genuinely interested in the welfare of others.  He wanted everyone to do well, and he was always helping someone,” said Corinne.  She made that dream a reality when she established the Benjamin and Corinne Pierce Charitable Foundation, a support organization of CREATE Foundation.

With a mission to improve the physical, intellectual, economic and spiritual quality of life for the people of Alcorn County, the Foundation is already making a difference in people’s lives.  Recent grants bring the total investment by the Pierce Foundation in Alcorn County over the $2 million mark.
